It is chiseled in two layers: an upper layer and a lower one. The upper layer is decorated with curtains, which look symmetrical and beautiful and sets off the dignity between host and guest. On each side is scribed an imperial ring, which is used as a knocker-holder. On the right side, there is a covered wagon, in front of which the driver stands at the side of the horses. In front of the wagon, two people are kneeling on the ground. One holds a mirror in his hands while the other salutes the host who is sitting at the center of the banquet. Behind the host, the attendant is facing left. Further left, there are three people sitting on the ground. One faces the host while the other faces two attendants on the left, who are bending forwards and giving the host gifts, and it looks like this attendant is stretching out his hands to receive something. In the front of the central part, there are two drinking vessels: Damengyi and Xiaomeng'er. This drawing accurately reflects the scene of the luxurious fete of the tomb owner.
The lower picture is ranged about with chariots and war-horses on a trip. From the right to the left, the first lattice is inscribed with a light horse cart, on which two people are riding and there is a guide riding in the front. The second lattice is inscribed with two soldiers, who are holding face covers and walking on foot. On the light horse cart are sitting two people, and the driver is walking close to the horse. In the third lattice, an attendant is inscribed who bends forward as a front guide. In the middle there are two people sitting on a light canopy horse cart, beside which two people are walking on foot, and behind which two cavalries follow with sticks in their hands. In the fourth lattice, two light horse carts are inscribed. On the front one, an attendant follows at its heels, and the head and feet of the horses stretch out of the side frame. In this drawing, the stone picture can be divided into eight scenes, of which the layout is reasonable and with proper spacing. The inscription is made using a combination of basso rilievo on one plane and line carving to make the drawing three-dimensional. This picture reproduces the illustrious scene and impressive manner of a rich and powerful family and the nobles are holding a banquet on a trip. The whole sarcophagus looks uncommon and is worthy of being called first-class.
